2 Structure of industrial wood flooring Robina
Robina laminate flooring has a 4-layer structure similar to other types of laminate flooring. However, the special thing about this wood floor line is that the layers are integrated with advanced technologies such as VEPS technology and decorative film materials imported from Germany. This ensures that Robina Malaysia laminate flooring meets European standards.
The structure of Robina laminate flooring consists of 4 layers with high quality:
- Transparent surface layer: This layer is coated with a layer of aluminum oxide (Al1O2), which enhances outstanding scratch resistance.
- Decorative film layer: Printed very similar to real wood grain, using SchattDecor printing technology from Germany.
- HDF wood core: This grade is selected from a tropical hardwood tree, which is highly resistant to moisture and termites in Malaysia. The locking function using VEPS technology is applied in this layer.
- Balanced base layer: This layer helps waterproof from below the floor, increasing the life of Robina laminate flooring.
The price of Robina laminate flooring with a thickness of 8mm will range from VND 330.000/m2 to VND 370.000/m2. Meanwhile, 12mm thick floor will cost from 450.000 VND/m2 to 520.000 VND/m2.
26 Construction Guide Robina Laminate Flooring Imported Malaysia
To properly install Robina laminate flooring, we need to follow these 5 steps:
Step 1: Flatten and clean the floor surface
Before starting the installation, check the flatness of the floor surface and correct the protrusions to ensure the final quality. Next, sweep the work area to remove dust and dirt. Make sure the flatness of the floor does not differ by more than 3mm.
Step 2: Lining the foam layer on the floor
Use a layer of silver foam to line the floor. Use clear glue to glue the edges of two adjacent foam layers. Make sure the two edges of the foam do not overlap. The foam layer helps to prevent shocks, smooth feet and prevent moisture from the floor.
Step 3: Determine the installation direction and style
Depending on your preferences and aesthetic taste, choose the right way to join Robina wood flooring. The most common way is to join the floor from the corner of the room to the outside, into consecutive horizontal rows. For safety, leave a gap of at least 1cm from the base of the wall to the edge of the floorboard to allow the board to expand without warping.
Step 4: Install the R-Click
First, hook the tongue of the yang weed into the yin first. Then, tilt the board 45 degrees so that the entire yang hum is in the yin humer. Use a rubber hammer or an iron hammer to adjust the board position. Do it slowly and carefully.
In the final step, use end braces and skirting boards to cover gaps and gaps between the floor and the wall. Use end braces or T braces in doors and interior areas to ensure aesthetics and cover imperfections.
