Last Children's New Year, I took my family to Khoang Xanh Suoi Tien to "change the wind". This is the first time my children have had a weekend away with their family, so my wife and I have learned and expected a lot on this trip. Satisfied yes, not satisfied, but the children have had a lot of new experiences. And for sure, this is one of their most enjoyable memories from the beginning of the year so far – so I wanted to review it for other parents.
How's the Road, Fares?
Khoang Xanh Suoi Tien is about 60km from my house (near the center of Hanoi), so I decided to drive a car to go home during the day. You can take a motorbike, bus or any coach because this route is quite easy to go.

Ticket price: Combo ticket (to experience almost all the services in it) for adults is 380k and for children is 270k - my family goes with 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children, all 1.300k fare.
This ticket price is a holiday ticket, and there will be a discount on weekdays. Or if you just want to visit and have some basic fun, somewhere around 100-200k.
What's in Suoi Tien Green Zone?
Actually, when I arrived, my whole family was a bit disappointed, because the facilities here are not new - probably due to the influence of the epidemic, so we did not invest in restoration and upgrading. However, the deeper you go, the more this feeling changes 180 degrees – our kids are very excited because there are many interesting games.
Almost all the games here are experienced by our children such as:
- ️High-speed water slide: The slide is long and high, so it is only the second time that the children can immerse themselves in the game, but the first time, everyone is "procrastinated". There were many slides, so even though it was a crowded holiday, the children were not jostled or waited long.

- Play ferris wheel games: Each ferris wheel will have different levels of spinning – vibration – jerking (there are Comet Ferris Wheel, Max Air Ferris Wheel, Queen Ferris Wheel and Swing Boat Swing). These three games all participate because they are quite interesting and bring strong feelings. But each game I only play once, because after playing it, I will be "fazed on your face".

- Exploring the Ski Cave: The snow house is where my whole family spends the most time because it's easy to play and long-lasting. Because the feeling of playing skateboarding in the sub-zero cold is very interesting. Especially, the space here is very large, the slopes are gentle, so playing is very comfortable.

- Explore the “mystical chord”: This cave is designed to depict the scene of the underworld – with dimmed electric lights, ghostly sounds, and the occasional ghostly effigy. Although the outside is very grand, but the inside is only suitable for children and women, I am not impressed.
- Bathing in a wave pool: The lake creates cool waves, has artificial waves like the sea, but it is too crowded so my house is not very "salty".

- Bathing in Hot Spring Water - Soaking in mineral mud: Near the time of returning, the whole family bathed in mineral mud and hot water - this is a wise decision because after a long day of playing, the whole family soaks in the mineral mud together. This is also the first time family members have bathed together in a small space like this, it feels very interesting.

In addition, we also visited Dinosaur Valley (dinosaur statues), Crocodile Kingdom (real crocodile) and Streams, Waterfalls around Khoang Xanh. I really enjoyed this visit because the natural scenery here is very beautiful, the air is fresh and cool, pleasant.

Food is allowed here, so my wife also prepares lunch at home for the whole family to eat by the stream. The area around the stream is both cool and shaded, so there are many families taking a lunch break. You can also have lunch in the restaurant area if you don't want to bring food.
Experiences I Liked And Disliked Here
Arriving at Khoang Xanh Suoi Tien at 9 am and leaving at 15 pm, our children had a very happy Children's Day: experienced many games, many new feelings and the whole family had about spending time together without smartphones. As for myself, I have some objective comments below for your reference:

Plus points:
- Many interesting and attractive games, especially the snow house.
- The cave models are beautiful and epic.
- The space is spacious and airy, especially the waterfall area (very beautiful and fresh).
- Staff were friendly and enthusiastic.
Unsatisfied points:
- Facilities have not been well invested and upgraded.
- The swimming pool is not very clean – with a fussy person like my wife will not be satisfied.
In short, Khoang Xanh Suoi Tien is still one of the places that you should visit and experience, especially for families who want to have a picnic. If it was upgraded a bit more, I would vote 5 stars for this place.
