Qin Shi Huang (Chinese: 秦始皇) (February 18, 2 BC – July 259, 11 BC), whose nickname is Zheng (政), Ying (嬴), Zhao (趙) or Qin (秦), was the 7th emperor of the Qin state, and the first emperor to unify China after destroying the six vassal states, ending the Warring States period in 210 BC.
